Ceramic & Silk Jewish Virtue Necklaces

Two years in the making. Worth every moment.

The Ceramic & Silk Jewish Virtue Necklaces are the second iteration of our beloved Jewish Virtue series — and this time, we went somewhere entirely new. Dead-stock vintage ceramic pendant pieces, sourced by Ariel and then transformed by the talented hands of ceramicist Carolina Spitzer, who applied gold luster and fired each one with Jewish virtue words and motifs. No two are exactly alike.

The challenge was always: how do you turn something this special into a necklace? The answer came in the form of recycled silk ribbon — braided, bohemian, and completely unexpected. Each pendant is paired with one of our acrylic evil eye charms, then hand-secured with embroidery thread, needle in hand, stitch by stitch, where the ceramic meets the ribbon. At the closure, dead-stock vintage findings with chain accents connect the ribbon to the clasp.

Mixed materials. Mixed hands. One deeply intentional piece. These are unlike anything we’ve ever made — and there are only 17 total in existence.

The Dove and Emunah variations, as well as additional inventory from our photoshoot, will be available in September.
